At a relatively young age, I was taught by my grandfather that my McClendon name is my most valuable possession. He taught me that my name is my Personal Brand; a representative of my reputation and credibility. My grandfather taught me that it can take a lifetime to build a great name, but just one moment of foolish indiscretion for it to be irrevocably destroyed. My name is my inherited legacy. In what state would I pass it on to generations to follow.

Those early lessons shaped me into the God-Loving Man,Husband, Father and Servant-Hearted Friend that I am today. It is because of those lessons that I now know that every decision that I make; including how I honor my faith, how I love and care for my wife and two beautiful daughters, how I serve my community and how I conduct myself professionally; all will ultimately enhance or diminish the value of my name.

To you my friends, it’s a privilege for me to honor the legacy of my grandfather as I share with you the wisdom that I have gleaned from numerous mentors and influencers that continue to guide me on my own personal journey.
